Overview: 

JRD-180 is composed of fatty acids calcium and a variety of extreme pressure, anti-wear agents, additives synthesized by a special process, mainly used in pre-plated high carbon steel wire drawing, spring steel wire, gas shielded welding wire, tire edge steel, copper, bottom carbon steel wire drawing. 

Performance: 

Fatty acid content: 35%-40%              Color: light yellow 

Softening point: 230-260 ℃              Water content: : less than 1% 

Decomposition temperature: 220-410 ℃    Size: medium particles  

Application: 

Used for all drawing passes, but in cool bad situation may occur coke. Large-sized wire drawing speed is at 100-200m/min, when the small size wire drawing, speed ≤ 500m/min. After dry drawing, let the wire goes through water tank can improve the steel quality and reduce the mold consumption.

Treatment Before Drawing: phosphate, rust, boron coating.
